The book “Art & Soul” from Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Brian Smith features portraits of celebrities who support TheCreative Coalition, as they share personal stories about the impact of art on their lives and on society.
Hollywood A-listers featured in the book include Anne Hathaway, Kerry Washington, Patricia Arquette, Adrien Brody, Alyssa Milano,Adrian Grenier, Taraji P. Henson, Tony Bennett, Amanda Peet, Kelsey Grammer, Paula Abdul, Tim Daly, Taye Diggs, Samuel L. Jackson, and many others.
The Creative Coalition’s arts advocacy programs, led by Robin Bronk, are a uniquely powerful campaign to raise awareness of the role of the arts in America.
Tim Daly, actor and President of The Creative Coalition, explained the mission of the book. “‘Art & Soul’ couples unique portraits of today’s most recognizable faces with their poignant narratives. These stories are illustrative of the unique power of the arts to feed the soul.”

The 38-year-old actress and husband David Bugliari welcomed Milo into the world seven weeks ago and they decided to decorate his room in a way he will appreciate when he is older.
Alyssa said: “David and I decorated the nursery ourselves. We wanted to give him a warm cosy space he could grow into.
“The paintings are part of the ‘John Lennon Real Love: Drawings for Sean’
artwork series.
“We thought about doing a mural but it seemed kind of depressing to one day have to paint over it. We decided we would start Milo an art collection that he could have forever and pass down.”
As well as collecting art, Alyssa is doing all she can to hang on to mementos of her baby’s first few months.
She explained: “I’ve been taking a ton of mental pictures. I’m updating his baby book – and thank goodness for the iPhone and the Hipstomatic app!”
The ‘Charmed’ star was astonished by how much love she felt for Milo when he was born.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “The first time I saw Milo I finally understood my purpose in life. I think it was more emotional than I thought it would be. Even now, I can’t really put into words how I felt.
“To be honest, I can’t even put into words the love I feel now when I look at him.”
